Smith Mountain Lake, VA (March 5, 2004) – Bitsy Davis, a REALTOR® with Waterfront Properties, Smith Mountain Lake's premier real estate company since 1987, received the e-PRO certification for internet professionalism.

According to the e-Pro website (www.epronar.com), “The e-PRO Certification Course is an educational program unlike any other professional certification or designation course available, comprehensive and interactive. It is sponsored by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and is specifically designed to help real estate professionals thrive in the competitive world of online real estate.” The program establishes the fundamentals of online competence, and is geared towards teaching about Internet business principles including options and requirements to get connected, e-mail communication and marketing practices, online marketing strategies and practices, and creating and maintaining personal technology plan of action.

Bitsy has over twenty three years of professional real estate sales experience. Bitsy joined Waterfront Properties in 1985. She earned the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) designation and is a graduate of the Realtors Institute of Virginia (GRI designation). Bitsy is a consistent top award winning agent with Waterfront Properties and The Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors since her first year in the Real Estate business, including Sales Agent of the Year, Diamond and Platinum awards.
